Rants from the Kenyan inauguration

It is now official that Uhuru Kenyatta will hold the realms of power for the next five years or more. This was the second time that Kenya held an inauguration ceremony, and quite an inauguration it was. I couldn't miss the thing so I skipped revising for the following day's CAT. The result of which I might be doing a supplementary. With the invitation of Robert Mugabe and El Bashir, plus the obvious twist added by Jesse Jackson's son, I just can't stop thinking that Africa was sending a message to the Western world.-that our sovereignty should be respected. Museveni, the rapper president, clearly stated that the ICC is being used to impose leaders on Africa. It is quite funny that the western powers, add China to that are not signatories of the ICC project. They must be engaging their advisers and policy makers now that the project is failing,as observed in the recent past Kenyan election. The juicy part of the story is all in the guests that were invited. Did you guys see how Robert Mugabe was looking at Mzee Kibaki with a disturbed face for lack of a better way to put it. I bet Mugabe was wondering why Kibaki was retiring at ssuch a young age. The Zimbabwe supremo was uncomfortable through the whole session, and was seen most of the time shaking his head. In disbelief perhaps. Mugabe is way older than Kibaki but still going strong. So he may be forgiven for thinking of Kibaki, who was struggling with inspecting the guard of honour, as being too young to retire. I also tend to imagine that Uhuru got shivers every time Jacob Zuma, do I call him the king of polygamy, a rapist or...whatever got close to Margret Kenyatta- The jamaa must have been salivating. Hope I don't get sued for disrespecting heads of state. I am however still wondering what it is that happened to the Nicki Minaj and Chris brown perfomance- someone inform me.Baadaye!
